40M views in just four weeks

Joining the UK's only 24/7 sports radio station to run talkSPORT's YouTube channel was interesting – because I wasn't really into football. It turned out to be one of my greatest strengths and a valuable lesson. Based on an existing trend, this video of 'sports pictures taken at the right moment' went truly viral – 40M views, driving £100k ad revenue. And, whilst the video below isn't a reflection of my glossiest work, it definitely showed how thinking differently can produce big results.

* This video was made in 2012. Since then, talkSPORT have made it ‘private’ – so I’m embedding this copycat vid instead. Even that seems to have done pretty well.
